Wines I chose...
I was super excited to see Chateau Beausejour's 'Le Petit Robe' in the portfolio. Fabulous wines that in my opinion capture Bordeaux well and elegantly. I recently moved to Oregon because I fell in love with the terrior here. So unbelievably diverse, creating unique and stunning wine and if allowed, really express characteristics that are harmonious with those of the old-world. I was really taken aback by Area and Proteus. I found them super fun and expressive of that gorgeous climate here in the PNW. I am always super excited to get a wine made up of Grechetto when I can. It is usually a blending grape but is so darn expressive with structure and acidity that allows it to work with the richest and leanest of dishes. So versatile.
