This developed, lighter red wine is comprised of 40% Pinot Noir and 60% Chambourcin grapes. A ruby core, going into brick color, it’s sophisticated with developing aromas of dried red fruits, licorice, oak, and earthy notes. Delicate and medium bodied on the palate with red cherries, red currants, and woodsy elements embodied in a crisp acidity with black pepper and noticeable tannins on the finish. It’s a unique and beautifully made red wine that showcases the potential of the Chambourcin grape.
