Medium ruby core. Aromas of red cherries, red plums and red currants with a hint of licorice that mimics on the palate. Medium bodied with earthy and herbaceous notes of thyme and oregano intermingling with the ripe red fruit, the acidity and tannins are present in a way you expect in a well-made Cab Franc. This is the reason why Cabernet Franc has started getting more and more attention and perhaps soon creeping up on Riesling in quality. Well done, Billsboro!
